Description
Non-weight-bearing lower leg injuries are common and patients who go through recovery often find very few options to maintain their independence during that time. A person on crutches will have mobility limitations and limited use of their hands. This has a significant negative impact on patients’ lifestyle. Daily activities such as opening and closing a door, carrying things, showering, cooking, and walking up and down the stairs are difficult tasks to perform.
The objective of this project is to reevaluate hands-free mobility and develop a solution that is superior in both function and aesthetics to the products available in the market in addressing the user’s needs with.
