Summary
I started my design career as a junior industrial designer at Media, a local manufacturer of LED light fixtures based in Iran. I joined Media early on as the company was starting its first assembly line, with only two or three light fixtures designed in-house.
At Media, I learned a lot about designing for mass production from the design team. I had a chance to visit the assembly line and see the problems firsthand. I had the opportunity to work directly with a local supplier for aluminum extruded parts and had the opportunity to be involved in the tool design process.
